I love nail polish as much as any girl, but chances are you won’t find me attempting any of those youTube fancy glitter-dipped-ombre-nail-art tutorials any time soon.
My general feeling is that most girls are decent at painting their own nails (“decent” as defined as semi-presentable enough to not concern others about your possible involvement in a crime scene). Not me. And, since most of us don’t always have time to hit the nail salon, especially in the midst of the upcoming holiday festivities, we all too often flounder when trying to come up with a fabulous alternative.

It may be true that we (or maybe just me) abandon our seemingly endless box of nail polish colors and start contemplating a replacement by going bare-nailed. Although, there are many things I can pretend to be good at, polishing my own nails is absolutely not one of them. Up to now, I’ve grown far too comfortable rocking the “anti-manicure” (which, mind you isn’t entirely flattering if you’re also sporting something sparkly on your ring finger — if you catch my drift) instead of a festive nail color or design to complement a great holiday outfit.

Finally, the answer to my manicured prayers: Jamberry nail wraps.
Resembling the appearance of a sticker, they can be applied over natural nails, acrylic nails, or even pre-existing nail polish. Not only are they made with extremely durable material and can last for up to two weeks on the fingernails and four weeks on the toes, but (unlike the lower-end drugstore varieties) they are non-toxic, vegan, gluten free, and can withstand my natural inclination to find projects around the house that channels my inner construction worker. Plus, the removal process is easy, painless and causes zero damage to the natural nail or surrounding skin!
Jamberry nail wraps come in over 300 different designs and varieties, including adorable seasonal prints for the following holidays:
For only $15 a sheet (one regular sheet includes 18 nail wraps, or 2-3 applications depending on the length of your nails), they make a great stocking stuffer or even a sweet gift you can stick in a card and mail to a friend or family member (including kids — see Jamberry Juniors)!
